In our culture names are given after checking out if they have good meanings attached to them,so the first, middle and the last names would have some kind of combined meaning.Some women either keep their maiden name plus the husband's first or the last name attached or some do not change at all. The issue comes when the children are born and they have to have the father's last name.It is much easier to identify the baby at the hospital by the mom's full name, if it is different than the father's last name it is a hassel to change or to give baby along name.
